Updates for Diana

Posted on September 13th, 2008 | Under Diana | (3) Comments »

Well, I have not been able to release any update for Diana at all this few weeks. All due to increasing projects and workloads that I do not have any available time set for Diana’s updates yet But it is not going to die this way, probably I will set aside sometime in a few week times to continue updating the Diana to a better one.

The plans I have in the pipeline will be -

  • Fully compatible with widgets
  • Out of box support for LifeStream, flickrRSS
  • Design changes

Chrome, a browser by Google

Posted on September 3rd, 2008 | Under Google | No Comments »

Chrome’s topic is already covered by lots of websites and blogs all over the web. So I am not going to say it out all the features and “cool factors” of Chrome. The only thing I like about Chrome for now is speed, it is fast, way faster than Safari and Opera (which claimed to be the fastest browser).

There are still lack of plug-in supports to Chrome. For example, if you PC already had Silverlight installed, Chrome will try to display it and you still get the content but with some functions disabled. If you try to view, http://www.webfwrd.com/sl/ , you will still see the video but when you try to click on components, it will stop functioning.

Chrome currently support Flash, Java and QuickTime, but does not support Windows Media Player component yet. Also, some CSS breaks while viewing in Chrome. I am going deep into all the problems and issues with Chrome and will be updating here.
